Episode: Why Barbarians Target Their Fury at Christian and Jewish Institutions

Daniel Lapin 0:00
Greetings, Happy Warriors and Welcome to the Rabbi Daniel Lapin show where I your rabbi, reveal how the world really worked, and I like reminding you that the more that things change, more we need to depend upon those things that never change, because that way we can more successfully chart our course through the rocky waters of life, making sure that we understand what the constants are. Because as long as we have an anchor that holds us steady, the storms can rage around our ship, and we are still able to take care of our families, our friendships, our finances, our faith and yes, our physical health, outfit and something that occurred just before I sat down to prepare This show for you is that there was a shooting in Minnesota. The culprit was a man who was, I don't even like using the word because it's such nonsense, transitioning to a woman or had transition to a woman, but it was a man, and no matter what we call him that still is exactly what he was. He's no longer alive. He took his own life after taking the lives of other people at a Catholic school, a Catholic school at which his mother worked. His mother is Catholic, and he was raised Catholic somewhat, I think, lapsed perhaps, in many ways, certainly from the wild and rabid writing that this young man left behind, it is clear that he was profoundly disturbed. Now, in spite of the fact that I have here in front of a list of close to a dozen shooting perpetrated by so called transgender people. The most recent, I think the most recent, was two years ago in Nashville. And that one, let me just see what was the, what was the, what was the death toll there. Was horrible, the death toll there. Let's see if I can tell you. Whoa, why don't I have this in front of me? Well, when you try and do everything yourself, yeah, here it was. It was in 2023 March, 2023 it was the covenant school in Nashville and I don't have, I don't have, the number of casualties, whatever it is, it was bad. And again, in that particular one, because it was so clearly a transgender perpetrator, the authorities in Nashville tried to suppress the fact they also actually did suppress the manifesto the wild, rabid writings of the cub of the perpetrator that he left behind. And even now, the mayor of Minnesota, which is where the most recent shooting took place, in his first public state, not focused on the victims, not focused on bringing healing to the school. All he was focused on was that Minnesota and Minneapolis will continue to be havens for the transgender community. I'm not going to talk and you all have your own feelings on this, and it's very clear it's a mad insanity that has overtaken the United States of America, it overtook other countries as well. But interestingly enough, England, which has gone so overboard in some areas on this one, they've pulled back, and they've stopped the mutilating of children completely put a total stop to it. And at the moment, though, it still continues to be controversial in America. And look to me, why? Why is it relevant only to this extent that these are all young people who are doing these acts, and one of the things that happens in young people is their hormones go crazy from puberty onwards into their early 20s, hormones are crazy. If there is ever a time in the life of a young man that you do not want to be pumping him with hormones, strikes me this would kind of be that time. But in addition to that, I want to say that the fundamental sexual identity that we all have born with the physical equipment that shows us that we're a male and the cellular chromosomal reality that shows that we have XY chromosomes, or alternatively, that we are born with a. Uterus, and we are equipped with X, X chromosomal structure that is so real, and it's so fundamental, and it's so binary, it's one or the other. And no, it's not a spectrum. And no, there's not a difference between gender and sex. Oh, you know all this, I don't have to carry on, and I don't want to, I don't have to do any of that. No, because that's somebody who is 21 years old and has been pumped with hormone and has been told that the only thing stopping them from being happy is that they were born into the wrong sex. And then they go along and they undergo surgery and hormonal treatment and cycle psychiatric treatment, and at the end of that, they're still not happy. Yeah, they'd be pretty angry, I think, pretty upset. I don't know the details, but just from a point of view of standard logic, yeah, it's pretty clear. You know, there is a graph going around, put out by the Family Institute, showing that the that women are who are married with children are the happiest of all women, and women who are not married but have children, next happiest, and women who are married without children, third category and fourth category of single without children, who are the least happy, and it's low. But the interesting thing is that a number of people have pointed out quite correctly. There's that the graph shows that 47%
Daniel Lapin 6:34
of women are happy, and they are the ones with husband and children. And the reality is only 47% everyone who sees it, what? What are you talking about? So more than half of women are not willing to say that they enjoy life, even if they have children and a husband, and they still do not enjoy what's going on there. And again, I haven't polled, I haven't consulted with sociologists, but each and every one of us has a head and we have a basic understanding of logic, and we can put together a hypothesis for sure. And my hypothesis on that is that women in general, are being told by their therapists and by the mental health industry that they are entitled to be happy, that life should be fun and exciting, and if it isn't, you may be suffering from a mental malady for which you will be relieved to hear there is a tablet, there is a medication for you to take, and Big Pharma laughs all the way to the bank. But meanwhile, women who are not feeling that they're enjoying life all the time and they're happy and they're finding it fun and it's exciting well, and the way the questions were frayed as this poll was being taken, lead me very much to arrive at this conclusion that, yes, women are not the majority of women won't say that they're enjoying life because they are beset by doubts. Because, after all, who is enjoying life 100% of the time? You know you're grateful for life, and you're grateful for the blessings you have, and you're enjoying life a lot of the time, but not all the time. Sometimes you're in pain. And yes, I know that philosophically, you can say, even when you're in pain, you should be enjoying life, because the pain reaffirms that you're, in fact, alive. All right, it's all very nice. The reality is, you know, most normal human being have times during a week where they're not they can't really, oh, I'm enjoying like and they don't mean forever, and they don't mean over long periods of time. They mean right now. I'm not enjoying what's going on right now in my life or what I have to do. I'm very anxious about a task I have to undertake. There's something I have to deal with. There's plenty times. And so yes, I suppose if a pollster reaches you at that particular point, you're not going to say that you're enjoying life. But it goes beyond that, and that is that women, more than men, are being told they deserve to be happy, and they're told to do many things to achieve it, including, by the way, get rid of perfectly good husbands. They are told, you'll be happier if you are away from his toxic influence. So many women, and I've spoken to women in this situation who profoundly regret having gotten divorced. They initiated a divorce perfectly good husbands, could you find fault with him? Yeah, could you find fault with her? Of course, we're all human, but marriage in general, it has to be pretty bad not to be better than being single and so, yeah, so naturally, there are women who are conditioned to believe that they are supposed. Used to be in an intoxicating state of high exhilaration all the times, not normal, not natural. And so women go ahead and get divorced, they go on medication, they spend a lot of time and money with therapists. And something else that they do also is they're told to estrange from their parent. They're told that your parents are responsible for the condition in which you find yourself, and the only way to recover and to heal is to be able to be isolated from your parents. Well, I can assure you that the profound need that each and every one of us has to be progressing and growing in the five F's, one of which is family. And family means your children, your siblings, above all, your spouse and your parents and to there is no way. I mean, it would have to be so rare that it's excluded in 99.9%
Daniel Lapin 11:03
of the case, in almost everything else in all normal life. Don't believe that your parents have ruined your life. You know who? If your life is ruined, you know who did it? I can tell you the name of the person who did it. It's the name of the person on the driving license in your wallet. That's who did it. In other words, we are, each and every one of us responsible for this. It's something that it's really important to point out that we are directed to teach ourselves in the Bible, in the fifth book of the Five Books of Moses, the book of Deuteronomy, chapter six, we are told that in the same way that you have to teach your children, you have to teach yourself, meaning you have to take responsibility for yourself. And so we understand, and I've taught this in in scrolling through scripture, Genesis unit one, I've taught this in much greater depth than I'm going to be able to do now, but one of the things that we read in the beginning of Genesis is where God says, Let us make man. And every amateur theologian wants to know who's the US. You'll notice that God didn't say, let us create fish, let us create horses, let us create crocodiles, let us create pigeons and baboons? No, it's only when it comes to human beings that God says, Let us do it. And who is the US? Well, think about it. For AMA, think about what I just said, Who is responsible for the life you are living? God, no you. There are decisions you have made. There are actions you took that bring you to where you are today. There are things you didn't do, things actions you didn't take, that bring you to where you are today. You are responsible for where you are more than anybody else, not your parents, not God, because God filled you with potential, but what you've done with it is entirely up to you. And therefore, what God is saying when it says, Let us make man. You know who it is. It's two participants, two partners, God and you. And that's what God is. God is saying in the creation of every single human being says, God, I do my part, but the person has to do his part as well, and so let us create, yes, the man or the woman you are today was created by a partnership between God and you. That's the first person plural. Let us make man. Each and every one of us is deeply committed and deeply involved and deeply responsible for how we emerge, what sort of human being we are, and so we have to understand this and realize that no therapist can make this right for us, no nobody else. This is recognition of your own agency. It wasn't done to you by anybody else. And you've heard me before. I know I upset people when I say this, but my role is not to massage you with warm butter. My role is to tell you the truth, and the truth is that right now, there is far too much talk of trauma and abuse and mental health. Put them aside. Just put them aside for the moment, whatever you think you went through, and there's not a single one of us who hasn't gone through challenges and difficulties. You want to call it trauma. Go ahead. You want to call it abuse. Call it abuse. You're making it harder to succeed in life. Do all of that because those are words that diminish your sense of age. They diminish what you have to realize you are empowered to do for yourself. And so getting back to transgenders, which is not the topic, when you tamper with people whose hormones are already running wild, and you interfere with this very fundamental. Possible distinction in human beings, the sharply defined binary division of men and women, male and female, and you start tampering with that, it's no surprise to me that the consequence in the people thus tampered with are terribly serious. And do those people get angry about the fact that the Promised relief didn't come about? They were told by teachers and friends and the Internet and doctors, everybody said to them, your gender dysphoria, you've got all you're in the wrong, but all we've got to do is help you make your sex match your gender, and everything will be fine, and it turns out not to be fine, and it hasn't been fine. The overwhelming, I don't even have to tell but you all this stuff is readily available for anybody who wants. But the reality is, that's how it is and so, so forget the transgender stuff. Here's what I'm interested Yes, I couldn't I couldn't ignore it. So I've just spent 10 minutes talking about exactly what I don't want to talk about, but it's relevant, and I've covered it as much as I want to cover it for now, because what I actually do want to cover, I think, is really more interesting and and that is that the assaults, not just by transgenders or overwhelmingly by them, but by other people as well. The mass assaults are almost always against religious institution. And so yesterday in Minnesota, yeah, it was a Catholic school. And in 2023 it was a Christian school. In Nashville, let's look at some of the others. Let me just tell you what is readily available. I've left out, I've left out a bunch of them, but here, just in terms of what we've got. So August the 27th 2025 it was an Annunciation Catholic school in Minneapolis in these are not in any order, December, 2024 just a little while ago, the Feather River Adventist school, okay? This is in Oroville, California, private Christian school. That was December 4, and a gunman came in, shot at a Kindergarten group of kindergarten kids. Fortunately, he didn't kill, he injured two, and I think they survived, and then he shot himself. Good riddance to him. Then a few days later, also, December, 24 Abundant Life Christian School. This is in Madison, Wisconsin, not so fortunate this time, the gunman killed a teacher and a fellow student, student at that school and injured six others before killing himself. So that was Madison, Wisconsin, abundant life Christian school, 2023 March, 2023 I just referred to that one a minute ago. That's the covenant school in Nashville, Tennessee, a private Christian school. Okay, that was that shooting. Let's look at Charleston, Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston. And this was, you remember the Dylan Roof case? This was him. He goes into a church and kills nine black worshippers. Who cares that they're black? What's the difference? Kill I shouldn't have I read it just the way the news item had it. I shouldn't have said that he killed nine worshipers in Immanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston. Was it a racial act? Who knows? Right? But I question whether it was not a racial act but an anti religious act, I think it fits into the collection of crime, this lamentable catalog of crime that I have compiled, where these crazy shootings, many of them by transgender. But that's not the point. Sutherland springs shooting. This was going back to 2017 and that's about as far I went, a little further back than that, but not necessarily to go any further. First Baptist Church, Sutherland springs, Texas, he killed 26 people, right? No Color mentioned. So you know how that works nowadays, right? No Color mentioned, they're Black and Color mentioned, they only mentioned white. That's the rule. It's also the rule for criminals, by the way, when the color of the criminal is not mentioned, then it's black. If the color is mentioned, it's going to be mentioned as white. Sorry. Look, I wish these things weren't a reality, but anyone who has eyes in their head, can see and understand what the educated academic elite of this country, who populate the newsroom of all the news media, print and chronic yeah, that's, that's what's going on. So at any rate, another church shooting there was first Baptist Church in Sutherland springs, Texas. Is Overland Park few years 2014 that was killed three people at a Jewish facility. Was a Jewish Community Center at in Kansas. 2019 2019 this was six years ago. This was a synagogue in Poway, California. It's near San Diego, and he killed one woman, three others, injured a year before that, 2018 Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tree of Life synagogue.
Daniel Lapin 20:37
He killed 11 worshipers, wounded six others wounded four policemen. So there it goes, and I could carry on, but the point I'm making, I wonder, why are they all attack aim at Judeo, Christian religious institutions, very hard to find an attack on mosques, certainly nothing like these numbers, overwhelmingly, they are churches and synagogues. They're Christian or Christian schools or Jewish facilities. It is Judaism and Christianity that is being targeted. That's what it is. Why? What is going on? Do you have a sense? And if you are a member of our happy warrior community, which I hope you are by now. You can join the conversation on this on the we happy warriors website, and I will here read what it is that you think is the reason why? Why has this happened? You know, not that many shootings at malls. You'll remember that horrible shooting in Las Vegas. 2016 was a lot of people at a music concert in was 2016 or 2017 might have been 27 but it doesn't matter. That was an exception. That was different. But generally speaking, when I look for mass shooting events, they tend to be Jewish facilities or Christian facilities, either worship or education. What's going on here? And so I would submit the following hypothesis, and that is that God look in our soul, whether you like it or not, I shouldn't have said, look, look, almost has a negative connotation, right? They speak about lurkers on the internet. I shouldn't have said, look, but whether you welcome it or not, whether you let him in or you try to keep him out, God is inside everybody's soul, and that means that you are going to act in certain ways as a result of the presence of God, even though you may be an atheist and you may have decided to keep God out of your Life, you may even not accept that God exists whatever you want, but there's a reality. Let me give you a silly example, but it's the best I can come up with, easily and quickly. Somebody says to you, I don't believe in gravity. Okay, fine. Well, life's not long enough to argue with people who don't believe in gravity. But for the sake of the thought experiment. Somebody says, I don't believe in gravity. Okay, fine. You don't believe in gravity. And he then says, I'm going to step out of a window on the 20th floor of the building. And I say, I, if you, if you didn't tell me that you didn't believe in gravity, I would tell you should really not do that, but I have no authority over you, and you've already told me your position. So good luck to you. He steps out of the window. Turns out that not believing in something does not make you immune from that thing, not at all. And so there he is. Doesn't believe in gravity, but it's gravity that plunges him down to his doom, hitting the sidewalk A few seconds later. The fact that you don't believe in something doesn't mean that you are immune to its effect, and so even the simple reality that you resist and you decide that you're an atheist and whatever it is and God doesn't exist. But that in itself makes you act in certain ways, because if God was truly absent from your soul, it's an irrelevancy. You don't go around telling people that you know my obsession with Mickey Mouse has been cured. I don't have an obsession with Mickey Mouse. It's irrelevant. Who's even interested. I would never think of even if I had an obsession with Mickey Mouse and I got rid of it, I wouldn't tell anybody. You know what? I'm happy to tell you, I've finally discovered Mickey Mouse doesn't exist. He's not real. It's absurd, but people will go to great lengths to argue and discuss about the existence of God. You know, I think I may have told you, but I once had a meeting with a prestigious man of Jewish background who didn't, not only didn't believe in God, but demonstrated the existence of God in. His soul by the vehemence with which he insisted that God is not real and that the Jewish people exist as a secular nation with no particular connection with God. And so we we had a meeting, and we scheduled to meet at a certain club. And we it was a morning meeting and not a kosher club. I only eat kosher food, and so I ordered a cup of coffee. And pretty soon my friend arrived, and he ordered bacon and egg, and he sort of had this mock he sort of feigned profound concern. He said,
Daniel Lapin 25:44
Rabbi, I hope this doesn't offend you. I assure you it doesn't offend me. In the least. We each have our own relationship with God. He said, Well, not me. Okay, fine. And I excused myself, and this was a few years ago. You know, cell phones really only, only came about, what, 18 or 19 years ago, and this was a little bit before that. So I went to the public telephone in the lobby, and I called his home, and his wife answered the phone, and I said, and so and so. This is Rabbi Lapin here. I have a meeting with your husband. She said, Yes, yes. Hasn't he arrived? And I said, No, don't worry about it. Everything is fine, but I just want to know, in order to be helpful, what does he like having for breakfast? Oh, she says, since we've been married, he has for breakfast, he has some toast and butter and coffee, that's really all he has. I said, Well, you know, maybe Can I order him some bacon and eggs or something like that? She says, I've never seen him eat bacon. So I went back to my table. I thanked her. Went back to the table, and we continued the conversation. Shortly before we finished, I said to him, I said, so you decide to eat eggs and bacon? He said, Well, I didn't want to offend you. I said, Forget about offense. I promise you not offended in the slight. In the slate, you can eat whatever you like. But what I'm interested in is what made you do it because your wife told me that you never have bacon, and I am in a position to contradict her. The accurate statement is you never have bacon and eggs unless you are breakfasting with a rabbi. And if you breakfast with a rabbi, you suddenly become conscious of God in your soul, and you know that that God in your soul instructed clearly in the Five Books of Moses, Jews should not eat pig, simple as that. And you had to eat pig, not to show me anything, and not to show God anything, but to show yourself that God doesn't rule you in any way whatsoever. And do you know the man had the good grace to look down at the table, and he kept quiet. And so I stood up, and he stood up. I shook hands with him. I thanked him for the meeting and for the conversation, and I went back to my office with a wonderful story of something that really happened, and it served, for me as a very good understanding of exactly this. So years ago, back years ago, we started something called the American Alliance of Jews and Christians. And the reason that we started the AAJC, the American Alliance and Christian was the realization that we find ourselves in a struggle against civilization, and a struggle against civilization means a struggle against Christian or a struggle against Judaism. But the number of Jews is small, but nonetheless, people have often asked me, you know, what is the reason for anti semitism? The reason for anti semitism, primarily, is the drive towards rejection of God. The Jews are a real problem for the secular world. Jews are a huge problem for secularists, because the existence and survival of the Jew, the almost every feature of communal Jewish life is testament to the fact that God runs the show. It's as simple as that. That's really what it is. Because there are no other nation that have ever had the same trajectory as the Hebrew. There is no language that behaves even remotely in the same way as God, the Lord's language, Hebrew and and so the presence of Jews is highly irritated, because the presence of God in everyone's soul can also be highly irritated. Yes, as the gentleman with whom I had breakfast discovered, it made him do something he never does. It literally changed his behavior only because it was God in his soul, not Mickey Mouse. It has an impact. And in the same way, as it made my friend eat bacon and eggs, it can also make people hate that. That's exactly what it is I believe that implicitly and so in. Hating Christianity part of the same thing. If you believe, you decide that there is no difference between men and women, then you have to know on some level that you are defying the Bible, because the idea that male and female are utterly separate and distinct is only from the Bible. Opening in Genesis, male and female, He created them. And why does God make Adam and Eve clothing out of leather? They were already clothed. They had made for themselves, clothing out of fig leave. And so when God started making them, tailoring them, garments out of leather, Adam and Eve should have said to God, oh Lord, don't take any trouble. It's not really you don't take a look. We've got these green outfits. They're environmentally sound. They are sustainable. They're easily replaceable. Don't worry about it. You don't have to go to any trouble. And again, only by careful reading of the Hebrew text, because it eludes significance in most English translations, but in the Hebrew text, it's very clear that the garments they made for themselves were identical. What they made for Adam and what they made for Eve were the same thing, and God said, as explicitly gets stated later on in the Bible, men shouldn't wear women's clothing and women shouldn't wear men's clothing. And for that reason, God makes them garments out of leather made distinctly one way, set of garments for him, one set of garments for her. And that's how it had to be. So we understand as we make our way through this entire chapter of not just of the Bible, but of what we're seeing going on around us. The desire to obliterate civilization is the same desire to obliterate Christianity. The same desire to get rid of rules and structure and rituals and restraint is the same as the desire to get rid of Christianity, the very fact that mankind in general, resists any form of authority, and it is an advanced stage of civilization for a man to go into the Military and accept voluntarily and consensually, to accept the authority of the powers above him. That's a very high level of civilization, but the barbaric instinct is no rule. Well, if you don't want any rules, I'm afraid you're going to have to get rid of Jews and Christians, because Jews and Christians keep alive the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and his book of rule for all of humanity. And so the American Alliance of Jews and Christians was formed because we realized that the attack on Christianity was an attack on civilization, and the attack on Christianity was the same as an attack on Jews, exactly. And all the same thing. And we realized that Christianity was the last undefended population, you know, use even if transgender people kill, says the mayor of Minnesota, this place must stay a haven, a safe haven for transgenders. When did you ever hear if you know, if it ever happens that a person, maybe a Christian pastor goes wrong and shoots people. When did you ever hear the mayor say, however, we must not forget that our state must remain a haven for Christian it's almost laughable to imagine such a thing happening. Christians are the last undefended minority, and so the American Alliance of Jews and Christians was formed in order to make sure that Jews played an active role in defending Christianity in America and elsewhere, and that Christians obviously defended Judaism, because it's all the same. It's Judeo Christian bible based civilization and the forces of barbarous always have to take out Judaism and Christianity. They have to go and so we wanted to make sure that we would build an alliance. And thank God this we've done. Have there been so many instances where we have stepped forward and undertaken a defense? I'll give you an example a while back, the Washington Post published an article by a man called Michael Weiskopf, in which he started off by saying, Christians are poor, uneducated and easy to command. And then he proceeded the rest of his article a denunciation of Christians and how bad they are for the United States, for America and how everyone anyways, the American Alliance of Jews and Christians wrote a very strong and very effective letter, which the Washington Post, to their credit, published, and they also published an apology from Michael Weiskopf for his stupid article. But. Have been instances where
Daniel Lapin 35:03
secular Jews have got onto the school district in certain schools in Alabama and Texas and one other state. I think it was, I think it was Tennessee, and they started introducing sex ed, which, as you know, is not really sex ed. It's sex indoctrination. It's an encouragement to let loose the sexual restraint that hold together civilization and which come from the Bible. And the immediate response, what happened was that these initiatives to bring in sex indoctrination, came from the secular Jewish members of the school district, and there were strong movements, successful movements to vote them off the board of directors and the Jews cried anti semitism, and American Alliance of Jews and Christians defended the school districts, in all cases, pointing out this was not anti semitism at all. This was anti secularism, and this was for the preservation of the values that keep society stable and that preserve a civilization. And this, this is exactly what the organization does and what we're formed to do. And if you are not yet a supporter of the American Alliance of Jews and Christians, it would be wonderful if you would. While you're at it, you should also subscribe to the show on whatever platform you're listening and also make sure you are part of the happy warrior community. And we've got all kinds of things going on, including a master class coming up soon. You can go to our website at Rabbi Daniel lapin.com We've got a master class coming up soon on building your ability to persuade and sell, regardless of whether you are an actual professional, a sales professional. The fact is that unless you are a justice on the United States Supreme Court or you are a tenured University professor, pretty much all the rest of us have to engage persuasion and sales, whether it's your children or your employer or your colleagues or your associates, but we're all engaged in selling. Sometimes, if you're job searching, most important thing is to ever sell yourself. And sometimes you're having a conversation, you want to sell an idea. There's nothing derogatory about the term selling whatsoever. And so if you want to know more about that, go to www, of course, Rabbi Daniel lapin.com and that brings us, I believe, to the end of today's show, where the question I try to answer is, why have such a disproportionate number of criminal mass shooting occurred on the premises of Jewish or Christian religious organization. And I don't know for sure if this is an answer, but I do think the hypothesis holds up, certainly enough for me to engage further research and further study in order to get greater clarity on exactly what is going so my dear happy warriors looking forward to being together at our next opportunity. I wish you growth, moving onwards and up in your family and your finances, your faith, your friendship and your fitness. I'm Rabbi Daniel Lapin, God bless.
